Client: Custodian Investment Plc, Nigeria Service: Email Copywriting

This email was produced as part of Custodian’s general insurance campaign, promoting home and vehicle protection products to their existing customer base. The brief was to communicate the value of comprehensive protection in a way that felt personal, relatable, and emotionally resonant rather than transactional.

Rather than leading with product features or technical specifications, I used an everyday storytelling approach, grounding the copy in the small, familiar moments of daily life that insurance is ultimately designed to protect. “Your morning commute. Your family’s evening at home.” These details were chosen deliberately to make the abstract concept of insurance feel immediate and personal, to help the reader connect emotionally with what they stand to lose before introducing the product that protects it.

The copy was structured to move the reader through a natural emotional journey: from recognition of what matters most, through acknowledgement of vulnerability, to the reassurance that comprehensive protection is available. The call to action was placed at the point of maximum emotional engagement, when the reader was most receptive to taking action.
