As part of an ongoing content strategy for the practice, I developed and designed a series of Instagram carousel posts using Canva, covering a range of mental health topics including grief, anxiety, emotional resilience, overwhelm, and the importance of setting meaningful goals.
The brief was to create content that would build the practice’s Instagram presence organically, educate and engage the existing audience, and position the practice as a trusted, knowledgeable voice in the mental health and wellbeing space, all while maintaining the sensitivity and professionalism required in this context.
Each carousel was designed to be both visually appealing and substantively valuable, giving followers real insight and reflection points rather than generic motivational content. I developed a consistent visual identity for the series including a colour palette, typography choices, and layout structure that aligned with the practice’s brand and felt appropriate for the subject matter.
Topics covered in the series included grief and loss, anxiety recognition, emotional resilience, breaking cycles of avoidance, and why people set the same goals every year without achieving them. The content was crafted to encourage saves, shares, and profile visits, the key engagement signals for organic Instagram growth.
